About Us
Who We Are
Punk & Pedagogy started as a bookshop, but it’s really an experiment — a spark disguised as commerce.
We believe education is rebellion with better design. This is a place for thinkers, teachers, and makers who want to stay curious, speak loud, and learn their way out of the boxes they were handed.
I haven’t read every book here (not even close), but I want to. Every single one. This shop is my syllabus — a growing pile of stories, ideas, and rebellions I’m working through one at a time. You’re welcome to read along, skip ahead, or tumble down your own rabbit hole.
It’s not just a store. It’s a spark — and sparks start revolutions.
So what is Punk & Pedagogy, really?
Punk is the instinct to question power, to build culture from scraps, to turn limitation into creation. It’s messy, handmade, and alive.
Pedagogy is the art and science of learning — how ideas are shared, resisted, and remade.
When they collide, you get a practice: teaching as disruption, learning as creative sabotage. Punk & Pedagogy lives where rebellion meets reflection — where we use knowledge not to climb the system, but to dismantle it with precision.
We’re anti–anti-intellectual. We reject the myth that thinking is elitist or that feeling deeply makes you soft. Punk isn’t ignorance; it’s literacy with feedback distortion — the courage to read the world and refuse the story you were handed.
Our Bookstore
Our online bookstore features carefully selected titles across children’s literature, nonfiction, cultural studies, and creative work. Each book is chosen to encourage curiosity, reflection, and discussion.
We operate as a curated bookstore. We do not warehouse or ship books directly.
All book purchases made through our website are securely fulfilled by Bookshop.org, which processes payments, handles shipping, and manages returns and customer service.
We partner with Bookshop.org because they support independent bookstores nationwide.
Workshops & Educational Programming
In addition to our bookstore, Punk & Pedagogy develops workshops, creative learning experiences, and community programming designed to support independent thinking and creative expression.
Information about upcoming workshops and events is shared directly through our website.

Our Mission
